Grand National 2024 runners and riders: Full final 34-horse list

Defending champion Corach Rambler heads the betting as Lucinda Russell and jockey Derek Fox both seek a third win in the Aintree showpiece

The final 34-runner line-up has been confirmed for Saturday’s 2024 Grand National. Noble Yeats, the champion in 2022, will carry the most weight, with Nassalam, Coko Beach and Capodanno running 4lb lighter.
Last year’s winner, Corach Rambler, is the clear favourite, having finished an impressive third in the Cheltenham Gold Cup last month. Corach Rambler will carry 11st 5lb, but the handicapper would surely have asked him to shoulder more weight had his run at Cheltenham come before, not after, the official weights were announced in February.
At the bottom of the weights the well-backed Kitty’s Light is guaranteed a run alongside two other horses – Chambard and Eklat De Rire – who were all given the same weight and same official ranking. Had there not been space in the race for all three, a random ballot would have been used to determine which of them missed out.
The list of Grand National candidates was cut to 51 on Monday and then to 34 on Thursday afternoon. Of the top 34 horses earlier this week, the only one to come out on Thursday was Conflated.
